Elections & Voter Information

Elections for the City are run through Meagher County's Election Administrator, the Meagher County Clerk & Recorder.

To file, please complete the declaration document and return it to Meagher County Clerk & Recorder's Office at 15 West Main Street.

Be sure to complete the CERS Registration that is required by the Commissioner of Political Practices.

 

The City of White Sulphur Springs has 2 seats on the City Council which are open for this election cycle. Each seat is for a 4-year term. One seat is held by Rick Ellison, who was elected to fill the unexpired term in 2021. The other seat is held by Lee Blanchard, who was appointed to fill the unexpired term in 2021.

Candidate filing opened April 20, 2023.

Candidate filing closes at 5:00 p.m. on June 19, 2023

The Seats are designated as “at large” and those interested must have their filing paperwork in to the County Elections Office by the deadline. A primary election will be held on September 12, 2023 if required due to the number of candidates. The general election is set for November 7, 2023.
